Terms and conditions
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This website is operated by Ashima Jain, an individual resident in Vadodara, Gujarat, India (“the organiser”, “we”). By contributing you accept these terms.
1. What this fundraiser is
It raises money for the cancer treatment of Pankaj Jain, the organiser's father. It is an independently organised, family-run fundraiser: not a registered charity, trust, NGO or Section 8 company, and not affiliated with any crowdfunding platform.
We hold no 12A or 80G registration. Contributions are not eligible for tax deduction and no 80G receipt will be issued. Contributions are voluntary personal gifts, not payment for any goods or services.
2. Contributions
- Every contribution is voluntary and one-off. There is no subscription or recurring charge.
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to make the payment.
- You must use funds that are lawfully yours. Do not contribute with a payment method you are not authorised to use.
- Contributions are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR).
3. How a contribution is confirmed
Submitting the form records your intent to contribute. It counts towards the public total and appears in the supporter list only after we verify the money actually reached the beneficiary account. Until then it stays pending and is not shown publicly. Verification is normally within 2 working days.
4. How funds are used
Funds go towards medical treatment and directly related costs — immunotherapy, chemotherapy, medicines, consultations, tests, scans, hospital visits and supportive care.
- Medical treatment is uncertain. We cannot and do not guarantee any outcome, and a contribution is not conditional on one.
- Treatment plans change. If doctors change the course of treatment, funds will be applied to the revised plan for the same beneficiary.
- If contributions exceed what treatment requires, any surplus will be used for the beneficiary's continuing medical care and recovery.
5. Refunds
Contributions are generally non-refundable, with the exceptions set out in our refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. What we publish
We publish your name (or “Anonymous” if you choose), the amount, your message if you left one, and the date. We never publish your phone number, email address, transaction reference or screenshot. See the privacy policy. You may ask us at any time to anonymise or remove your entry.
Do not submit anything unlawful, abusive or misleading in the message field. We may remove such a message without notice.
7. Accuracy of this site
We describe the medical situation and the funds raised honestly and to the best of our knowledge. Totals shown reflect contributions we have verified, and may lag behind very recent payments.
8. Availability
This site is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for losses caused by it being unavailable. If a payment fails, no money leaves your account — please do not pay twice; contact us instead.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the organiser's liability in connection with this website or any contribution is limited to the amount you contributed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Contributions are governed by the terms in force when they were made.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Vadodara, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
